The INEP 40 Lifelong Learning online module is designed for participants in any lifelong learning courses intended for practitioners in any relevant field related to the prevention of risk behaviour (such as psychology, education, special education, social work, or medicine). It is recommended that two options are considered when employing this 40-lesson modification (the online module itself): (a) as in the INEP 8 Lifelong Learning module, it can be incorporated into the curriculum of a relevant course (typically where areas of interest such as mental health and public health are covered) to complement the subject matter or simply provide a general background to prevention, including its basic perspectives, concepts, and definitions; (b) the second option is to employ the INEP 40 Lifelong Learning online module as a fully autonomous and self-standing 40-lesson lifelong education course offered in a self-led format.
